Meet & Greet Events
Connecting Alfred Werner Scholars with Industry
The Meet & Greet events offer Alfred Werner Scholars a unique opportunity to spend a day at one of the companies supporting the program, providing valuable insights into the chemical and pharmaceutical industry while fostering connections between scholars and industry professionals.
Initiated by Christoph Täschler (Lonza) in 2016, the Meet & Greet has since become a highly popular format to bringing Alfred Werner Scholars and industry together.
Originally, participation was limited to the two cohorts of scholars currently enrolled in their MSc studies. Since 2023, the event has been open to all Alfred Werner Scholars, including both current scholars and alumni.
Meet & Greet 2026
This year's Meet & Greet will be hosted by dsm-firmenich. Our hosts will be Dr. Jean Quancard and Dr. Elodie Brun from dsm-firmenich in Satigny, Geneva.
