Through its scholarship, mentoring, and award programs, the SCS Foundation creates opportunities for talented young scientists and connects them with Switzerland’s diverse scientific communities across academia, industry, and public research institutions.

By supporting the SCS Foundation, you invest in Switzerland’s research capacity and contribute to the continued development of scientific talent. Your commitment helps promote scientific talent and enables researchers and future leaders to advance chemistry and chemistry-based research, in academia, industry, public research institutions, and beyond.
Together with our partners and donors, we create opportunities for talented scientists to develop their potential and pursue careers in Switzerland. By strengthening connections between universities, research institutions, industry, and other scientific organizations, we contribute to a dynamic and sustainable ecosystem for chemistry and chemistry-based research.
Donors may support the SCS Foundation’s activities as a whole or contribute to one of its three programs: the Alfred Werner Excellence Scholarship Program, the SCS Mentoring Program, or the Best Presentation Award Program.
Institutional donors may also choose to support specific elements within these programs, such as the Chemistry Travel Award.
Unless they prefer to remain anonymous, donors supporting specific programs or program elements are acknowledged in SCS Foundation publications, both online and in print.
A confirmation specifying the amount and purpose of each contribution is provided for all donations.
